AAFM was founded 28 years ago, dedicated to supporting the ICBM leg of the Triad and sharing the history and culture of our multiple weapon systems. Over the years over 4,300 Missileers have been members. Our current active membership holds steady at 1,800 members. Some of our members have passed on and we’ve lost contact with 788 former members.
Today we launch membership drive, ending April 30th, and are asking each of you to help. The member who brings in the most new members or reactivates missing members will get an upgrade to a life membership and a cash award. If you know someone who has operated, maintained, defended, acquired, or sustained our ICBM weapon systems please ask them to go to our membership page and join. Additionally, we have posted the “missing members” list on our website under the members only section—if you find someone you know, ask them to come back to our great organization. They’ll be able to enter your name in the “Referred By” field in the membership form.
Why AAFM? We are the only non-profit organization dedicated to the advocacy of ICBMs, supporting our current missile force, and preserving the history of the ICBM force. We are in the process of developing a new strategic plan to ensure we are relevant and healthy organization well into the future.
Sincerely,
Jim
